Who has access to my candidates and job order info?

Only you and anyone you share your password with. The Verbal Summary team does not have direct access to your account. Only you know your password.

How many resumes and job orders can I store on my account?

Well – it’s not actually the number rather the size of total space used. Each account has up to 2 Gigabytes of storage. On average one resume with 5 minutes of audio is roughly 5 megabytes. At that size you would be able to store approximately 400 jobs or candidates. If you need more we can make that happen as well by purchasing additional space.

What legalities are involved with recording telephone calls?

It is the complete responsibility of the user (YOU) to know and abide by the laws regarding the recording of telephone calls in your area. A good place to start is here – Tape Recording Laws Summary. You the user are responsible to ensure that your use of this website is in compliance with applicable local and state laws.

Verbal Summary is not liable and can not be found responsible for any acts or failures to act in conjunction with the use of this tool.

Any personal information that is collected will not be disclosed to any third party except as required by applicable law.

What happens to my information if we decide to stop using the service?

Verbal Summary guarantees that your data will be completely destroyed. Not a shred of candidate or client data will remain. If for some reason you decide you’d rather stick with just sending resumes we will “suspend” your account for 60 days. During that time your clients will all wonder why you no longer use Verbal Summary and you’ll be convinced to rejoin. We can reinstate you with all your saved profiles. On day 61 we hit the Delete All button……

I am unfamiliar with making audio files.
What equipment do I need – and is it difficult to use?

Once you load an audio software on your computer and plug a recording device into your telephone and line in on the computer you are all set. We use THIS DEVICE and have found it to be absolutely SIMPLE to learn. You just plug it into your phone and then take the line out from the unit and plug it in the MIC line on your computer. Nothing more is required.

Can I share my account with another recruiter?

Each profile you send to a client or candidate will be “branded” with your logo, your name, your email address, your phone number, your company name, your title, etc. Each resume will have that information stamped discreetly along the bottom of each page in the PDF. It is up to you whether you want someone else’s contact info, etc. on each presentation you make. (It won’t look good……!)
